The repercussions hit:
(AP) - James City County Police arrested an eight-year-old boy who allegedly had a violent outburst in school.
Authorities say he head-butted his teacher and kicked an assistant principal when he was told he couldn't go outside to play with other students.
The four-foot pupil was led away from Williamsburg's Rawls Byrd Elementary School in handcuffs Tuesday and charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery.
In related news(?):
(AP) _ A California man is in critical condition with massive injuries to his face, body and limbs after two chimps attacked him at an animal sanctuary.
The man underwent surgery last night. One of the chimps reportedly chewed off most of his face. A doctor tells a TV station (KGET) that it will require extensive operations to reattach his nose. A sheriff's spokesman tells a newspaper (the Bakersfield Californian) that the man's foot and testicles were also severed.
The man's wife suffered a bite wound to the hand while trying to help her husband.
The couple was visiting another chimp they'd kept as a pet but were forced to give up in 1999 after he bit off part of a woman's finger.
They were standing outside his cage with a birthday cake when two chimps in an adjoining cage attacked. No word on how the animals got out.
