Closely Scratched Trains?
Sleep tight,
and ...The French rail company SNCF has cut capacity on night trains from the Mediterranean city of Nice after bed-bugs attacked passengers on a sleeper service to Metz, SNCF officials said Tuesday.
Three coaches where the bed-bugs were found have been taken out of operation to be disinfected. As a result SNCF is taking no new bookings on overnight services from Nice until next week.
"In summer the risks of infestation are much greater because of the heat. As a result we've stepped up our cleaning routine for the sleeping compartments," an official said.
