They're parting out their children in Russia:
A woman in western Russia has sold her six-year-old daughter for $10,000 to an undercover policeman who warned the child would be sexually abused and then used for organ donations, the Prosecutor General’s office reported Monday. Prosecutors have sent the case to court.
Olga Zelentsova, unemployed and an alcoholic, was found to have tried to sell her six-year-old daughter for just $10,000 during the course of an undercover investigation, the Gazeta.ru website reported.
The policeman who acted as a potential customer told the woman her daughter would be sexually abused and most likely used as a donor for bodily organs. In response Zelentsova handed him the girl’s birth certificate, Gazeta.ru added.
